Panfry egg tofu with floss

Yet another simple dish that don't need too many ingredients.

Choose egg tofu so that you can panfry it lightly using pan until it is golden brown on both sides. Once you are done, you can either just eat it on its own or to top it with either parsley or floss.

Stirfry Tua Cai (Musturd Green)

Just not too long ago, I remembered that my late grandma used to make this at home when we were growing up. Not something that we eat often and I can't really describe it. Bitter? I can't tell. But I like this vegetable.

And the best part to this search for the vegetable, I didn't know what is the name of it. Until one day I came across it at one of the heartland supermarket. Somehow, I felt that this was the vegetable. So I bought it home and stir fry it. Nothing too complicated, just some minced garlic and oyster sauce.

Yes, I finally found the vegetable that I have been looking for.

Presenting, Tua Cai. Or I think the other name is Mustard Green.

Miso pork slices in miso

It has been a long while since I last posted any recipes here in my blog. Been too busy. So yes, there are a lot of recipes in my drafts and notebook all over.

Time to do alittle catchup. No big experiments, more like just being busy and still want to cook dinner but running out of ideas sort of mode. Haha.

Here it is, simple steam pork in miso.

Just mix 1 -2 small packets of miso paste with some soya sauce and steam for about 25 mins. You can also steam it with rice. What I did the other night was to steam both together in my triple steamer and made a sunny side up by the side. :)

Viola. Dinner is ready. Nothing fancy. :)

(I realised that even after steaming, the pork slices were not so tough as compared to stir frying them.)
